Lot 313: A Collection of Household Ceramics, Glassware, and Sundry Items including Kernewek Pottery
A collection of household ceramics, glassware, and decorative items. The lot includes two Kernewek Pottery stoneware jars featuring cream speckled glazes and transfer-printed floral designs in pink, blue, and purple. One jar bears a brown printed mark to the base for Kernewek, Goonhavern, Cornwall, featuring a heraldic crest with the motto One and All. The collection also features a large circular lidded casserole dish with a deep brown ferruginous glaze and a cream stoneware beer stein decorated with German Fraktur script and transfer-printed hops and barley motifs. Further ceramics include a blue and white transfer-printed mug with bird and floral designs, two plain cream-glazed cups, and a small white ceramic animal figurine. The glassware section contains two Tarquin’s Gin Copa de Balon glasses with etched logos, a Leffe beer chalice with a polychrome crest, a stemmed glass with hand-painted purple and white dot-and-line patterns, and various clear glass bowls and dishes.
