Lot 320: An Assortment of Collectibles including a Boxed Sergei Meerkat Plush, Decorative Figurine, and Ceramic Planter
This lot comprises an assortment of decorative items, collectibles, and soft toys. The collection includes a Sergei character plush meerkat from the Compare the Meerkat advertising campaign, manufactured for Yakov’s Toy Shop. The figure is dressed in a white shirt, striped tie, and spectacles, housed in its original cardboard display box with printed branding. Included is a decorative figurine of a person in rural attire wearing a broad-brimmed hat and carrying a satchel. The piece is constructed from a cast composite material with a matte finish and is mounted on a circular wooden plinth with a mahogany-style finish. The lot further contains a glazed ceramic bowl or planter featuring a blue foliate and scrollwork border on a white ground, with a series of circular pierced decorative holes around the upper body. Also present is a carved hardwood shoe last, incised with the numbers 9/65. Additional items include a patchwork plush clown doll with multicoloured yarn hair, a beige plush teddy bear wearing a black vest and red bandana, a small set of bamboo panpipes bound with cord, and a polished dark green hardstone ring.
