Lot 333: A Collection of Hornby Railways OO Gauge Locomotives, Rolling Stock, and Track Accessories
This lot comprises an assortment of OO gauge model railway equipment and scenic accessories, primarily manufactured by Hornby Railways and Rovex. The collection features one 0-4-0 steam tank locomotive finished in a green livery and two LMS-style maroon passenger coaches, including a Royal Mail sorting van. The freight rolling stock includes multiple wagons with various liveries, such as Yeoman and ARC hoppers, Texaco and Esso tank wagons, a Mighty White promotional box van, and an Insul-Fish van. These items are constructed predominantly from plastic. The lot contains a quantity of loose OO gauge track, consisting of straight and curved sections along with manual points. Included in the lot are two boxed accessories: a Hornby R.636 Double Track Level Crossing and components for a Hornby R.481 G.W.R. Footbridge Kit. An assembled grey plastic bridge section is present, embossed with the Rovex maker’s mark on the underside. A small box containing various loose components, such as wheelsets and couplings, is also included.
