Lot 358: An Assortment of 20th-Century Decorative and Functional Glassware
This collection comprises a variety of 20th-century decorative and functional glassware. It includes a frosted clear glass dish featuring relief-moulded foliate and floral motifs, with overlapping leaves to the rim and roses to the centre. The dish contains a central silver-tone metal fastener, indicating it was formerly a component of a tiered stand. The lot also contains a pair of modernist-style cylinder vases in emerald green glass, each finished with a heavy clear glass base; one vase retains a modern retail label with a barcode. Also present is a marigold carnival glass bowl with an iridescent finish, decorated with a geometric sunburst and diamond pattern and a crimped, ruffled rim. The stemware in this group includes a ruby red brandy snifter with a clear stem, a pair of champagne flutes with clear bowls and tapered ruby glass stems, and a large emerald green glass with a clear moulded twisted stem. No manufacturer marks, signatures, or acid-etched stamps were observed on any items.
