Lot 506: CA & US 1973-1980 Hygrade Commemorative Year Sets and Loose Stamps
A collection of commercial commemorative stamp year sets produced by Hygrade (Grossman Stamp Co. Inc.) alongside an assortment of loose stamps. The collection features several Canadian commemorative year sets covering the periods of 1973-74 (No. 1400-07), 1975-76 (No. 1400-08), 1977-78 (No. 1400-09), and 1979-80 (No. 1400-10). These sets contain multi-coloured perforated stamps in various denominations including 8c, 10c, 12c, 14c, and 17c. Also included is a USA 1973 Complete Year Set (No. 1300-14). The stamps are mounted on original illustrated cardstock backings and remain housed in their clear plastic retail packaging. An accompanying clear plastic bag contains a group of loose Canadian stamps featuring floral and portrait designs. One set bears a Liskeard Auction Rooms lot sticker.
