Lot 544: A Collection of Vinyl LPs and 7 Inch Singles featuring Elvis Presley and Various Artists
A group of vinyl records comprising long-play albums and 7-inch singles, with a primary focus on the recordings of Elvis Presley. The LP collection includes The Elvis Collection Vol. 3 (2 record set, RCA Camden, PDA 054), Elvis’ Golden Records Vol. 2 (RCA), Inspirations (K-Tel, NE 703), and Separate Ways (RCA Camden, CDS 1118). Additional LPs include Michael Jackson’s Off The Wall (Epic), Tina Turner’s Private Dancer (Capitol Records), Bay City Rollers’ Once Upon a Star (Bell Records), and a Jazz Panorama of the 60s compilation. The 7-inch records feature Elvis Presley’s King Creole Vol. 1 (RCX-117) and Vol. 2 (RCX-118) EPs in original picture sleeves. The group also contains several RCA 45rpm singles with black labels and silver tri-centre designs, predominantly made in England. Titles include Don’t Ask Me Why (45-RCA 1070), A Fool Such As I (45-RCA 1113), One Night (45-RCA 1100), My Wish Came True (45-RCA 1136), and Fame and Fortune (45-RCA 1187). Most of the singles are housed in original RCA pink and white company sleeves.
