Lot 562: An Assortment of Vintage Cobbler's Tools, Glassware, and Ceramics
A collection of vintage hand tools and decorative household items. The tool group includes a Stanley No. 51 cast metal spoke shave, a two-part anatomical wooden shoe last with a metal-plated sole, and a specialized cobbler’s hammer or burnishing tool with a turned wooden handle. The shoe last bears various stamped and incised marks including IPP, 9/6, and 4102. The ceramic items include a group of Soho Pottery Ltd Solian Ware in the Queens Green pattern, comprising a teapot, milk jug, and creamer with green banded decoration and gilt accents. Also included is a square porcelain plate by Schönwald, Germany, featuring a hand-painted floral and grass motif, marked with a crown and tree logo, the number 192, and handwritten notations dated 1960. The glassware selection consists of various mid-20th-century green glass pieces, including a tall patterned decanter, two pressed glass vases with ruffled rims, a teal divided serving dish, a light green radial ribbed plate, and an embossed green glass bottle.
