Lot 571: A Trio of Parihy Contemporary Stained Glass Style Decorative Glassware
A three-piece suite of contemporary decorative glassware by Parihy, comprising a flared cylindrical vase and a pair of matching slender-stemmed champagne flutes. The items are constructed from clear glass with an applied surface decoration mimicking leaded stained glass. This design features a raised, dark blue-black outliner in an abstract, web-like pattern, with the resulting geometric panels infilled with translucent emerald green, amber, and ruby red pigments. The champagne flutes are of exceptionally tall, slender form with tapered stems and flat circular bases. No maker’s marks or signatures are present on the bases of the pieces.
