Lot 62: An Assortment of Vintage Tap and Die Sets, Hand Tools, and Power Tools
A collection of workshop tools and equipment featuring two vintage tap and die sets housed in fitted wooden cases. One set contains hexagonal dies marked WHIT for Whitworth thread sizes, including 3/4, 5/8, 1/2, 3/8, 1/4, and 1/8. The second set contains circular dies and guides marked FREMO and GAS for British Standard Pipe threads. The sets are accompanied by a large, heavy-duty T-handle tap wrench. Hand tools include a manual eggbeater style hand drill with a red drive wheel marked Qualcast in script, a retractable utility knife marked Made in England and Blades Inside, a 7.5 metre measuring tape, pliers, and various screwdrivers including a Rolson branded tool and a precision set in its original blister pack. Power tools consist of a Skil model 2248 cordless driver and a Rally 9.6V cordless drill. The lot also includes four cans of CarPlan Dry Fly remover. All items are contained within a black plastic Bonus toolbox with an internal lift-out tray.
