Lot 632: A Collection of Seven Ceramic Items Including a Royal Worcester Grandmothers Dress Figurine
A collection of seven ceramic items, featuring a Royal Worcester fine bone china figurine titled Grandmothers Dress, model number 3081. This piece was modelled by F. G. Doughty and depicts a young woman in a tiered magenta dress with a white ruffled collar, cuffs, and matching bonnet. The collection also includes a pair of porcelain character egg cups modelled as young boys seated on red-brick bases, marked for Mansell Print Ltd. The group further comprises a larger figurine depicting a standing woman in rustic dress with a blue patterned apron and a lamb, a woodland-themed posy vase modelled as tree trunks with foliage and a rabbit at the base, a small yellow lidded jar with floral and scrollwork decoration, and a white ceramic preserve pot with a silver-toned metal lid and ring handle. The Royal Worcester figurine bears the factory mark, pattern name, and modeller’s name on the base. The egg cups are marked Collectable Porcelain Mansell Print Ltd on the underside.
