An early 20th century mahogany dressing table stool of kidney shaped form, designed in the Edwardian Queen Anne revival style. The stool features an inset upholstered seat with a needlepoint tapestry cover, hand worked with scrolling foliate and floral motifs in shades of sage green and purple on a cream ground. The frame is supported by four slender cabriole legs, each terminating in a traditional pad foot. A white rectangular adhesive label for Liskeard Auction Rooms is affixed to the side of the seat frame.
