Lot 748: A Set of Vintage Czech Porcelain Tea Wares in the Marie Louise Pattern by Thun 1794
A set of vintage porcelain tea wares manufactured by Thun 1794, Carlsbad, in the Marie Louise pattern. The decorative scheme features a broad yellow border accented with gilded classical-style ornamentation, including anthemion and palmette motifs alongside scrolled foliate borders. The collection includes a large lobed serving plate with integral moulded handles, side plates, saucers, and footed teacups with scrolled handles. The items are produced from white glazed porcelain with gilded highlights to the rims. Although no factory marks are visible in the photographs, the pattern and form correspond to the production of the Karlovy Vary region in the Czech Republic, as supported by the accompanying vendor identification.
