Lot 759: A Wooden Storage Pedestal and a Cast Iron Lidded Pot
A lot comprising two utilitarian items: a square-form wooden storage pedestal and a cast iron lidded pot. The wooden pedestal is constructed from joined timber with a dark mahogany-toned stain. It features a hinged lid that opens to reveal a light-coloured wood interior, with the underside of the lid lined in green baize. The cast iron pot is of traditional cauldron form with a rounded body, two side lugs, and a wrought iron swing handle. The accompanying domed lid features a central circular aperture and notched edges designed to sit securely on the rim. No maker marks or inscriptions are visible on either object.
