Lot 828: A Late 20th Century White Painted Three-Drawer Bedside Chest
A late 20th-century bedside chest of drawers of mass-produced construction. The carcass and drawer fronts are made from white-painted composite wood, likely MDF or chipboard, with a thin hardboard back panel. The chest features three drawers, each with a decorative recessed-panel front and a central, matching round wooden knob pull painted in a cream finish. The drawer boxes are assembled with stapled or glued joints, and at least one drawer is fitted with a blue, red, and grey patterned ikat-style liner. An auction lot label for Liskeard Auction Rooms reading Lot 828 is attached to the top surface. There is a further small, illegible white sticker on the front top edge. No manufacturer marks are visible.
