Two contemporary decorative animalier studies executed in a painterly style on stretched canvas, depicting bovine subjects. The smaller square canvas depicts a cow head in a field with a more varied colour palette and similarly vigorous application of paint. The larger canvas is mounted on a standard wooden stretcher frame with corner bracing and is fitted with a hanging wire on the reverse.
