Signed J. & J. Simmonds at the lower right and dated Sept. 1988. at the lower left. This oil on canvas depicts a traditional stone-built church, featuring a central louvered tower with a pyramidal roof and a large Gothic-style window on the gabled end. The scene includes a low stone perimeter wall with a decorative wrought iron gate in the foreground, set against a backdrop of mature trees and foliage.
