Lot 211: An Assortment of Decorative Items Accessories and Collectibles contained in a Wicker Hamper
A mixed lot of decorative objects and accessories presented within a large split-willow wicker hamper. The hamper is of rectangular form with a hinged lid, side carrying handles, and woven loop closures. The contents include a dark brown leather crossbody messenger-style bag featuring an adjustable shoulder strap, brass-toned hardware, and a horizontal front zip pocket; the bag has an attached circular tag embossed with Genuine Leather. The lot also features a wooden rectangular trinket box decorated with Khatam/Sadeli style geometric inlay using multi-coloured woods and bone. Included is a carded Mattel Hot Wheels die-cast vehicle from The Beatles Yellow Submarine series. The assortment also contains a group of four small square ceramic pin dishes with blue and white transferware designs depicting a cathedral, a three-masted ship, and rural landscapes. Further items include red leatherette photo frames and albums by Home Living, a fabric shoulder bag with an owl print motif and teal webbing strap, and various ephemera including postcards.
