Lot 273: An Assortment of Vintage Glassware, Kitchenalia, and Miscellaneous Collectibles
A varied collection of household items, vintage kitchenware, and collectibles. The assortment features a large, circular brown glazed stoneware casserole dish with a matching lid, designed in the style of mid-century British pottery. Kitchen utensils include a vintage hand-cranked rotary egg beater, with the metal frame stamped Prestige and Stainless Steel, featuring turned wooden handles. Ovenware consists of a clear rectangular Pyrex glass baking dish. Ceramic items include a white figurine of a reclining animal, a ceramic tankard or stein decorated with vine leaves and German text, several blue and white transfer-printed teacups, and a pair of cream-coloured mugs with gold-tone rims and floral transfer patterns. Glassware includes four large balloon-style gin glasses, three of which are etched with Tarquin’s Cornish Gin branding and a bird logo, while one features a decorative purple and black swirl pattern; the lot also contains a clear glass sauce or gravy boat and a small souvenir glass with a coloured crest. Modern utility items comprise a black thermal flask, a blue plastic-lined travel mug with a black handle, and a pink floral-patterned travel mug with a silicone grip. The lot is completed by a shield-shaped wooden commemorative plaque for the Surrey Border Lions Club, inscribed with the dates 1980 – 1990, and a spiral-bound photo album or calendar.
