Lot 30: A vintage mechanical screw jack and two adjustable car stands
A trio of mid-twentieth century automotive workshop tools comprising a heavy-duty mechanical screw jack and two adjustable tripod car stands. The jack is of cast iron and steel construction, featuring a broad base housing a bevel gear mechanism which drives a large-diameter threaded screw topped with a crescent saddle. The stands are constructed from angled steel with central red-painted tubular supports. Height adjustment is facilitated through a series of apertures and secured with metal pins attached via chains. No manufacturer marks are visible on the items. A handwritten tag identifies the pieces as 1 x JACK and 2 x CAR STANDS, reference number 9510.
