Lot 504: A Set of Vintage Italian Amber Art Glass Apple-Shaped Dessert Bowls
A seven-piece mid-century glass dessert set consisting of one large master serving bowl and six matching individual bowls. Each piece is designed in a stylised apple form, featuring a small integral stem-like handle. The bowls are crafted from moulded amber glass with a smooth interior and a heavily textured bark-effect finish on the exterior. Due to the thickness of the glass and the textured pattern, the central areas exhibit golden and amber highlights when catching the light. This design is attributed to Hazel-Atlas in the Orchard pattern. The large bowl bears a paper auction lot tag from Liskeard Auction Rooms for Lot 504.
