Lot 634: Rectangular Hardwood Coffee Table with Inset Wicker and Glass Panels
A contemporary coffee table of rectangular form, constructed from stained hardwood. The top features two inset panels of bevelled glass, positioned over sections of woven wicker or rattan. The front is fitted with two short drawers, each featuring a patinated metal ring-pull handle. Below the drawers is a full-width open storage shelf, and the piece is supported on four short block-style feet. The design is in the British Colonial style. No manufacturer marks are visible. The item bears several auction-related labels including a printed label for Liskeard Auction Rooms Lot 634 and a handwritten label numbered 1239.
