Lot 760: Edwardian mahogany armchair with inlaid top rail and pierced slats
An Edwardian mahogany armchair featuring a high back with vertical slats, the central two incorporating ovoid piercings. The slightly curved top rail is decorated with a delicate line inlay and a central scroll motif. The shaped arms terminate in rounded grips and are supported by ring-turned spindle uprights. The chair is raised on square-section legs, all connected by an H-stretcher for added stability. The fixed, padded seat is upholstered in a modern cream and green striped fabric featuring small floral sprigs, finished with a decorative matching braid around the edge. No maker marks are present on the frame.
