Lot 796: 20th Century Oak Wall-Mounted Shelf Unit with Seven Small Drawers
A utilitarian oak wall-mounted shelf unit of simple plank construction. The design features two fixed open shelves above a base section containing a single horizontal row of seven small drawers. The drawers are fitted with a variety of hardware, including turned wooden knobs and brass-toned metal index label-holder pulls. The piece is held together with visible flat-head screws, indicating a 20th-century construction. One side of the unit bears a white adhesive label with handwritten characters 7527, R 10, and CROSS, alongside a printed auction label from Liskeard Auction Rooms for lot 796.
