Lot 875: An Assortment of Items Including a Taxidermy Herring Gull, Original Artworks, and an Electric Fireplace Suite
The assortment includes a taxidermy Herring Gull (Larus argentatus), presented as a full-body mount perched on a dark wooden block, housed in a glazed wooden box frame with a cream-coloured card mount. There is a framed digital art print of a purple rose with geometric overlays in a matching wooden frame, and a hand-carved circular wooden ornament with foliate and floral motifs. Included is an unframed contemporary painting on canvas depicting an African savanna at sunset with baobab trees and elephants, signed Hewitt and dated 13 in the upper right. The collection further includes a contemporary free-standing electric fireplace suite with a white-finished mantel and surround, a polished stainless steel-effect firebox insert, and a fuel bed of natural white polished pebbles. The unit contains an integrated fan heater and is fitted with a UK 3-pin plug and mains lead.
