A collection of two items of furniture comprising a display cabinet and a compact breakfast set. Item one is a mid-20th-century glazed mahogany-finished display cabinet with Queen Anne style influences. The piece features a shaped top with a bow-front edge above a single glazed door and glazed side panels. The central door is decorated with an etched rose and foliage motif. The interior is lined with a cream-coloured patterned fabric and contains two glass shelves. The cabinet is raised on four short cabriole legs terminating in pad feet. Item two is a vintage late 20th-century bamboo and rattan breakfast set of nested construction. The table features an oval top with an inset woven cane surface and a rounded bamboo rim. The trestle-style base incorporates a lower magazine rack with decorative diamond lattice panels to the sides. The set includes two matching armless chairs with curved bamboo frames and woven cane seats, designed to fit flush beneath the table frame. No extension leaves are present.
