Lot 925: A Mid Century Nathan Teak Corner Cabnet
A mid-to-late 20th-century teak corner display unit, attributed to Nathan Furniture. The piece is constructed from a honey-toned hardwood with a warm polished finish, designed with a 90-degree angled back for corner placement. The upper section features three fixed, quarter-circle open shelves. The lower section consists of a curved, floor-standing cupboard with twin doors, each decorated with a grid-patterned panelled design characteristic of the manufacturer’s classic range. The unit stands on a plinth base. No maker’s marks are visible on the item. A blue and white adhesive lot label is present on one shelf for Liskeard Auction Rooms, Lot 925.
