Lot 222: A Large Rococo Style Dressing Mirror and a Collection of Assorted Household Items
A large ornate oval dressing mirror together with a collection of decorative and household items. The mirror frame is of Rococo style, featuring scrolling foliate and shell motifs, constructed from moulded composite or plaster over wood and finished in an off-white paint. Brass mounting hinges are present to the sides, indicating the mirror was originally part of a dressing table or cheval suite. The lot further includes an assortment of items contained within a green plastic crate, including a pair of stylized pine wood bookends with animal silhouettes, a sealed One Direction branded Makeup Dinkies set in its original blister packaging, and a resin and metal wind chime featuring dolphin figures.
