Lot 255: A collection of ceramics and glassware including a Royal Doulton seriesware plate
An assortment of ceramic and glass items. The collection includes a Royal Doulton seriesware earthenware plate, transfer-printed with a polychrome historical scene titled Queen Elizabeth at Old Moreton 1589, depicting the Queen and her court before a half-timbered building. Also present is an octagonal earthenware serving plate featuring two moulded handles with a green-lined geometric Greek key pattern and multiple polychrome floral sprays. The lot further includes a white ceramic divided serving dish decorated with botanical herb illustrations in the style of Portmeirion Botanic Garden; a clear glass vase with a flared trumpet neck and bulbous base; a modern clear glass teapot with a loop handle, cylindrical stainless steel mesh infuser, and a black lid; and a small clear glass footed dish.
