Lot 391: An Assortment of Decorative Objects, Ceramics, Metalware, and Tableware
A collection of varied decorative and household items, including a boxed Italian Servizio da Torta cake set by Decor, featuring a platter and server. The lot contains a large rectangular gallery tray with a dark wood-effect veneer and gilt-metal railings. Included is a porcelain commemorative display plate for H.M. Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother (1900-2002), featuring a transfer-printed portrait and rose-decorated rim. Metalware items consist of a silver-plated dish cast in the form of a tropical leaf and a brass-toned tankard. Ceramic pieces include a blue and white porcelain oval mirror frame with relief-moulded cherubs and encrusted blue roses, a blue stoneware tankard with white sprigged decoration of vines and grapes, and a small white vase with a scalloped rim.
