Lot 398: A Collection of Thirteen Ornaments and Figurines by The Leonardo Collection
This collection comprises thirteen decorative ornaments and figurines from The Leonardo Collection. The group consists primarily of hand-painted cold-cast resin figures, with one ceramic item. The assortment includes a variety of animal, whimsical, and human subjects. Notable pieces include a large gnome figurine titled Fishing from the Legends and Dreams series, mounted on a polished wooden base with an incised signature; a limited edition figurine of a young girl with a picnic titled The Sweetest Moment, numbered 1/1322 of 7200; and a figurine depicting two fairy figures titled Poppy Picking. Animal subjects feature two rabbits (one titled Rebecca on a wooden base), two mice from the Little Nook Village series named Humphrey and Harriet Dormouse, a black dog in a green Wellington boot, a 2001 seated black Labrador, a 2002 white terrier in a decorative gift box, and two border collies posed next to a London 10 Miles milestone. Also included is a bird perched on a clock figurine and a hinged ceramic egg-shaped trinket box decorated with pink rose motifs, housed in its original padded presentation box. Several items retain original manufacturer tags or feature gold-toned identification plaques on their bases.
