Lot 732: H. Powell, Paul [illegible] and Others, A Group of Watercolours and Decorative Pictures
A group of framed items comprising original watercolours, decorative prints, photographs, and a heraldic document. The collection includes a botanical study of red poppies, executed in watercolour on textured paper and signed H. Powell to the lower right, presented in a gilt-effect frame with a cream mount. A fantasy illustration depicts a knight riding a grey dragon, rendered in watercolour and ink, signed Paul [illegible] to the lower right and tagged as Lot 732, set within a red mount and wooden frame. Also included is a floral watercolour of red and yellow roses in a thin black frame, a framed family heraldry document for the name Cooper featuring a coat of arms and text, and a large colour print of a succulent plant. The group is further composed of two colour photographs—one depicting a harbour at sunset and another of a Chinese dragon parade float—alongside a small framed miniature.
