Lot 917: A Jacobean Revival Oak Bureau Bookcase
An early 20th-century oak bureau bookcase in the Jacobean Revival style. The upper section features a pair of glazed doors with leaded rectangular panes. The lower section comprises a fall-front desk over two full-width drawers. The fall-front opens to reveal a fitted interior containing multiple pigeonholes and a small central drawer, set above a textured writing surface. The drawers are equipped with ornate brass swing handles. The entire carcase is raised on short, turned legs. Includes an auction lot label from Liskeard Auction Rooms marked Lot 917 and a pink circular sticker marked 32.
