Buyer's Premium:

This is a tall, neoclassical-style wall mirror, likely of 20th-century manufacture, designed in a rectangular pier mirror form. The frame is finished in a distressed gold gilding over what appears to be a composite or gesso base. It features an ornate decorative scheme, most notably a prominent ribbon-and-bow cresting at the top, while the rest of the frame is decorated with a continuous repeating foliate and scroll-carved border. The mirror glass is in good order with no significant foxing visible. A metal hanging chain is attached to the reverse to facilitate vertical mounting. An auction tag from Liskeard Auction Rooms is attached to the upper corner of the frame.
Height: Approximately 130–150 cm
Width: Approximately 40–50 cm.
