Lot 279: An Assortment of Vintage Kitchenware, Decorative Objects, and Ephemera
A collection of various vintage items. Included is a two-tone glazed stoneware jug with a cream-coloured body and a brown upper section, featuring a backstamp on the base reading MOIRA FARMHOUSE KITCHENWARE MADE IN ENGLAND and Oven and freezer-proof. The lot also contains a metal tankard of handmade construction, marked on the underside HAND MADE INDONESIA. A dark wooden box is decorated with light-coloured inlaid stringing and circular dots to the lid. Inside a cardboard box are several miscellaneous items: a clear moulded glass bottle with textured sides, an aluminium measuring cup with an integrated hook handle, and a theatre programme for a production of Oliver! at the Ashcroft Theatre, Fairfield Halls, Croydon. Additionally, the group includes a circular woven item featuring a multi-coloured geometric star pattern in earth tones, and a patinated metal object.
