Lot 294: An Assortment of Decorative Ceramics, Commemorative Mugs, and Figurines
A varied collection of ceramic items and collectibles. Included is a large earthenware vase with a mottled ochre ground and hand-painted blue iris decoration. A Bell’s Scotch Whisky ceramic decanter is present, finished in a matte tan glaze with gilded bands and printed base text reading Bell’s Scotch Whisky Perth Scotland. The lot features several commemorative and interest mugs, including a Kawasaki Z900 example, a 1977 Queen’s Silver Jubilee mug, a Delft-style windmill mug, and a portrait mug. Tableware and decorative items comprise a pair of porcelain bud vases with pink floral transfers, a cream jug with moulded grapevine relief, a tall fluted floral vase, and a small rectangular trinket box with a geometric border. Figurative items include two white ceramic cats, one of which is a bell with a red collar, and a composite cat-in-basket ornament. A ceramic kitchen timer and a tall amber-glazed vessel are also included.
