Lot 297: An Assortment of Decorative Glassware and Ceramics including Art Deco and Cut Crystal Items
An assortment of 20th-century decorative glassware and ceramics. The collection features a large Art Deco frosted glass centrepiece bowl with a distinctive crenelated rim, vertical ribbing, and engraved star motifs, characteristic of British makers such as Jobling. Included is a deep circular cut glass fruit bowl with intricate geometric star and criss-cross hatching, resembling designs attributed to Waterford. The group further comprises a pair of cut glass wine glasses with notched stems and fan-cut bowls, a small cut glass bowl with a metal-mounted rim, a ceramic globular jar decorated in a traditional Imari-style palette of iron red and navy blue, and a ceramic commemorative mug depicting a steam engine. No maker’s marks were identified on the pieces.
