Lot 413: A Collection of Vintage British Maps, Cookery Books, and Ephemera including a Booths Trade Catalogue
This lot comprises a diverse assortment of vintage printed materials and books, primarily of British interest. Included is a New Edition of Mrs. Beeton’s All About Cookery, bound in dark green cloth with gilt-stamped titles and decorative circular medallions to the front board. Also present is a vintage trade catalogue for Booths’ Dinner Service, referencing Tunstall, Staffordshire, and a New Initial Set. The lot features three Ordnance Survey One Inch maps with traditional red covers titled The Chilterns, Winchester, and Snowdon. A thick 19th-century style leather-bound volume is included, featuring brown boards with an ornate, blind-embossed geometric star pattern. Further items include a small souvenir booklet titled Cote d’Emeraude – Dinard – 12 Cartes Postales containing postcards, a plain tan folder, and a quantity of miscellaneous maps, booklets, and pamphlets contained within a repurposed cardboard box.
