Lot 42: A Vintage Lidl Blue Metal Cantilever Toolbox and Assortment of Hand Tools
A multi-tier cantilever toolbox constructed from blue-painted sheet steel with a single carrying handle. The lid features an embossed Lidl maker’s mark. The box contains an assortment of automotive and general-purpose hand tools of mixed manufacture, dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The collection includes multiple open-ended spanners, combination wrenches, double-ended ring spanners, tubular box spanners, and L-shaped socket wrenches. Specific tools are marked Sykes-Pickavant Super Slim, and others bear British imperial size markings such as 1/2 BSF and 7/16 W. A yellow-handled flat-head screwdriver is also included.
