Lot 435: A Porcelain Part Tea Service with Rose Garland and Blue Ribbon Decoration
A porcelain part tea service comprising multiple pieces, decorated with transfer-printed pink rose floral garlands, blue ribbon bows, and gilt-scrolled borders on a white ground. The collection includes a globose teapot and cover with a scrolled handle and gilded finial, a tall milk jug, an open sugar bowl, and a creamer positioned inside a waste bowl. The service also features a group of footed teacups with scrolled handles, an assortment of tea plates and saucers, and a twin-handled serving plate. Most pieces are finished with gilded handles and rims. The teapot is fitted with an auction tag for Liskeard Auction Rooms. No maker marks are visible.
