Lot 456: An Assortment of Silver-Plated Tea and Coffee Wares on an Oval Gallery Tray
An assortment of silver-plated tea and coffee wares presented on a large oval tray with a pierced gallery border and twin handles. The collection features a three-piece service decorated with engraved floral swags and scrollwork surrounding vacant cartouches, consisting of a tall coffee pot with a white finial, a twin-handled sugar bowl, and a cream jug. Also included in the lot is a coffee pot with a fluted lower body and beaded borders, a compressed circular teapot raised on four decorative feet, and a lidded jug with a fluted base. The collection is completed by a large basting spoon, a small open waste bowl, a small goblet, and two pedestal stands. No manufacturer marks or hallmarks are legible on the items.
