Lot 458: A Group of Four Vintage Penn Conventional Fishing Reels
A group of four vintage Penn conventional fishing reels, comprising three Penn No. 85 models and one Penn Delmar No. 285 model. The reels are constructed with dark composition side plates and chrome-plated metal hardware, including spools, pillars, and star drags. One reel is clearly marked with a script Penn logo above No. 85, Made in U.S.A., and Pat’d. Another unit features a circular maker’s mark for the Penn Delmar No. 285, also indicating manufacture in the U.S.A. The handles are fitted with various coloured knobs, including white, black, and green. Several reels are spooled with bright neon green and blue monofilament line.
