Lot 5: A 20th-century softwood four-drawer workshop chest
A utilitarian workshop or tool chest comprising a vertical bank of four drawers. The piece is constructed from softwood, possibly pine, and finished in a later dark blue paint. The drawers feature machine-cut dovetail joints and are fitted with matching polished white-metal mushroom-shaped knobs. The interior of the drawers reveals the natural softwood construction. The lot includes an assortment of workshop sundries as found within the drawers, including a Harris Icon paint roller set, a vintage Lyons Original Blend coffee tin, and miscellaneous hardware housed in glass jars and bags. An auction lot tag for Liskeard Auction Rooms is affixed to the rear. One drawer contains a small paper label reading Wicklow Almond.
