Lot 522: A Trio of Miniature Metalware Items Including a Sterling Silver Decanter Label and a Dewar's Advertising Charm
A trio of miniature collectible metalware items. The first is a sterling silver decanter label of crescent form, suspended on a silver trace link chain. The front is hand-engraved with the word Whisky in cursive script, while the reverse is stamped with a 925 fineness mark within a rectangular punch. The second item is a miniature advertising flask charm for Dewar’s Perth Whisky, constructed from a yellow-toned base metal. The front is stamped with the brand and location details and it is fitted with a suspension chain and ring. The third item is a small cylindrical lidded container, possibly a miniature scent bottle or vinaigrette, cast with a decorative foliate and scrollwork pattern to the exterior. It features a hinged lid that opens to reveal an internal clear glass stopper plug.
