Lot 566: A Set of Six Cut Lead Crystal Wine Goblets
A set of six matching cut lead crystal wine goblets, in the style of the Star of Edinburgh pattern by Edinburgh Crystal. The bowls are decorated with a wide band of deep-cut diamond cross-hatching to the lower section, surmounted by a row of vertical plume or leaf-shaped cuts. Each vessel is supported by a short faceted stem, terminating in a circular foot with a radial starburst cut to the underside. The lead crystal displays high clarity and well-defined, sharp-edged cutting. No etched maker marks were visible on the bases during inspection.
