Lot 609: Moorcroft Pottery Hibiscus Pattern Bud Vase
A Moorcroft Pottery bud vase decorated in the Hibiscus pattern, a classic design within the firm’s range of collectibles. This earthenware vessel features characteristic tubelined decoration, depicting stylised flowers in shades of deep red, plum, and blue-green against a pale yellow ochre ground. The vase is finished with a clear, high-gloss glaze. The form comprises a squat, bulbous body that tapers into a short neck with a flared, circular rim. The underside of the base bears a blue-stamped MOORCROFT factory mark and an impressed MADE IN ENGLAND stamp.
