Lot 613: A vintage rusticated briar wood tobacco pipe with a metal band in silver colours
A vintage rusticated briar wood tobacco pipe in the style of a Dunhill Shell Briar, of straight billiard form. The pipe features a deeply textured rusticated finish across the bowl and shank, exhibiting dark brown and reddish tones. It is fitted with a tapered dark vulcanite stem and a metal ferrule at the junction exhibiting silver colours. Stamped markings are present on the underside of the shank and on the metal band, though these are heavily worn and not clearly legible for transcription.
