A ceramic decanter manufactured by Wade Porcelain for Arthur Bell & Sons, modelled in the shape of a bell to contain blended Scotch whisky. The porcelain vessel features a dark green glazed shoulder and base with a cream-coloured central section. It is fitted with a gold-tone stopper. The front is decorated with a multi-coloured transfer-printed illustration of copper pot stills within a distillery, framed by a holly and berry wreath and a yellow ribbon inscribed The Art of Distilling. The base is inscribed in gilt Christmas 1991 and the shoulder features a gilded band inscribed BELLS Old Scotch Whisky. The reverse bears a circular transfer with a heraldic crest and text regarding the distillation process, alongside a facsimile signature for Arthur Bell and Sons. The underside of the base features a red printed backstamp reading GENUINE WADE PORCELAIN.
