A mid-century modern lidded ceramic tureen or serving dish, likely of British manufacture. The item consists of a shallow circular bowl and a matching domed lid topped with an integrated circular knob handle. The exterior surfaces are decorated with a transfer-printed stylised floral and foliate pattern. The design features circular sunburst centres in burnt orange and ochre, surrounded by chocolate brown petal-like forms and grey leaf sprays. The piece is finished with a white glaze. No manufacturer marks or backstamps are visible on the base or interior.
