Lot 761: A Pair of Hexagonal Oriental Style Ceramic Table Lamps
A pair of hexagonal ceramic table lamps decorated in a traditional palette of iron-red, underglaze blue, and gilt highlights. The decorative panels depict birds amongst flowering branches and butterflies, framed by stylized geometric and Greek-key patterned borders. Each lamp is mounted on a stepped, dark-stained wooden plinth base and is fitted with a brass-toned bayonet bulb holder. The lamps are equipped with white flexible power cables, inline thumb switches, and standard UK three-pin plugs. One lamp bears a lot tag from Liskeard Auction Rooms (Lot 761). No maker’s marks are visible on the exterior of the ceramic bodies.
