Lot 902: Mid-century Modern Stained Hardwood Armchair
A mid-century modern armchair constructed from dark-stained hardwood. The frame features distinctive wide, flat surfboard-style armrests with rounded ends, supported by a sculptural open-work underframe with tapered legs. The chair is upholstered in a later 20th-century fabric featuring an abstract geometric and floral-inspired pattern in muted shades of pink, grey, and beige. The construction utilises integrated joinery typical of British or Scandinavian designs from the 1960s or 1970s. A small, illegible white label is adhered to the inner front of one armrest.
